For over 30 years, Laurence Allen has served in various executive roles overseeing investment management related teams focused on alternative assets worldwide.

Mr. Allen has been a speaker at numerous private equity and credit conferences worldwide including the Institutional Limited Partners Association Conference (Miami), Super Return Middle East Conference (Abu Dhabi), Dow Jones Private Equity Outlook Conference (New York), World Exchange Congress Conference (Barcelona), Private Company Stock Conference (Palo Alto) and Asian Venture Capital & Private Equity Conference (Hong Kong).

His diverse civic interests have included the U.S. Congress Business Council in Washington DC, Police Athletic League of NYC, Bowery Mission of NYC, Metropolitan Museum of Art, San Francisco Opera, Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich, Second Congregational Church of Greenwich, and Ducks Unlimited which presented him a Lifetime Achievement Award. 

Mr. Allen’s background includes serving in various positions with Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns where he advised institutional investors and helped pioneer the development of secondary private markets for mortgages and private debt.   

He received a BS in Economics with honors and MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. For over 24 years, he and his wife have resided in Greenwich, CT where they have raised their children and been active in the community.
